As a patient of Yale Surgical Oncology, you will be treated by world-renowned surgeons and specialists who are dedicated to providing the best chances at curing cancer and to improving your quality of life. During your very first visit, our expert surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists will create a personalized plan so that you can begin treatment as soon as possible.

Our surgeons are faculty of the Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery, where they are at the forefront of both the surgical removal of cancers and the development of innovative treatment strategies. They are highly skilled at using the most advanced surgical techniques, such as the Whipple procedure, and minimally invasive procedures for reduced postoperative pain, recovery time, and scarring. Patients with late-stage and complex cancers or cancers that have not responded to traditional therapies may benefit from our groundbreaking research.

Each week, our surgeons meet with a team of leading specialists at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven to discuss the imaging and pathology reports for new and complex cases. This collaboration assures that all our patients receive the best course of treatment for their needs and that immediate adjustments can be made if necessary.
